Dallas Area Car Dealers Indicted in Money Laundering Plan
SHERMAN, Tx - Two Houston region used-car sellers have now been incurred with national violations within the Eastern Area of Arizona, introduced U.S. Attorney John M. Bales today.
Bahman Hafez Amini, also called Ben Amini, 44, of Parker, Tx, and Jose Ivan Jimenez, 47, of Houston, seemed on Nov. 16, before U.S. Magistrate Judge Amos Mazzant on money laundering fee.
Based On The indictment, Amini offered whilst the operator and owner of Texas Roadster, a business which offered usedcars, and Jimenez was used like a salesman for Texas Roadster.in four individual purchases, Amini and Jimenez offered vehicles to a person focused by-law enforcement and undercover Drug Enforcement Government brokers who displayed the cash they used-to buy the vehicles originated from the submission of controlled substances. Amini and Jimenez also entitled these dealings within the titles of third parties to be able to hide the origin of cost and accurate possession of the cars, as well as decided to keep necessary reviews concerning the dealings in the authorities. On Nov. 9, a national grand jury delivered a four-count indictment charging Amini and Jimenez with money laundering.
If convicted, Amini and Jimenez each address two decades in national jail on every count of the indictment
