Ripoff put the screws to me

I scheduled a truck to move three weeks before my move date. I was given a confirmation number and told I would receive a call 24 hours before my scheduled move. That call never came, I spent 2 hours on my cell phone trying to reach them. Long story short, they tried to convince me (when I finally reached them on the actual day of my scheduled move) that they had until 7:00 that night to provide me with equipment (which I may have to pick up and drop off in another city, regardless of distance from me). This is at the same time I hired "mover's helpers" through them that were to arrive at my house to move me at 11:00 A.M. Needless to say, I had to hire another truck, which I had to pay double for, pay gas and mileage on and return to the city it was rented from.

UHaul had the never to call me 48 hours after my move date to tell me that "had my equipment available." I told them I had been scheduled to move 2 days before that. They had the absolute nerve to ask me (no, are you ready) did I want to cancel my reservation for the equipment ($50 cancelation fee). I lost it, I told them I would be filing a chapter 93A case against them as they had confirmed in writing my reservation for that day and never provided me with any equipment and that as a result, I had to pay another company more than double what it would have cost if they had provided the services they were contracted for.
