The owner of Jerry Used Car Sales Purposely switched the Odometer to deceive me into thinking the vehicle had 170,000 less miles on it. I found this out after running an AutoCheck report. I honestly believe that Jerry has gotten so good at working the system with switching out these odometers that even he believes he is doing nothing wrong.
Jerry acknowledged that there were mechanical problems prior to selling me the SUV but said they were fixed. Well, within 24hrs the car was broken down. Was able to get it to start and drove it to his mechanic and the mechanic told me to get my money back. Turned out the vehicle needed a new Transmission as well as numerous other repairs. When selling me this car Jerry told me it was in mint condition both mechanically as well as cosmetically.
I have numerous recorded phone calls with Jerry admitting to the mechanical failure as well as Emails in which he incriminates himself without even knowing it. Jerry also attempted to extort me for positive reviews in which I would not do. I have also been in contact with several of his past customers who tell me very similar stories of Odometers being switched to show less miles as well as vehicles conditions being grossly over stated.
