On sunday afternoon (july 9), my car won't be ignitated... So my friend called pepboys at lake worth road store and tow truck came in at 3901 davis ave, lake worth and towed my car to the pepboys... I told a manager that it wont be ignitated... And also i told that i thought it might be alternator... He said no he knows something wrong, he charged me $105 for dialogic test... I told him, i didn't think so. And told him "do the best they can"...
I have waited for 3 hours and finally he checked and it ran well and they charged me $50 for towing (i thought $35) and $90 for dialogic plus tax and they reduced 10% and total was $141 plus... I paid it and went to my car... I found that it was not working... They failed and they should refund me $90... They said NO... Next day they found it was a starterand i said okay to replace it... I went there and they charged me to $260 plus... I rejected that charge... I asked them to remove the $90 because they failed... They refused... And i indicated that they added many items on the billing statement... They added $135 for a rebuilt starter, $35 for core, $35 reduced, $87 labor less discount, $25 for warranty (1 year), and $16 for tool fees plus tax $12 approx...
I asked them to remove $35 and $25 and they cannot remove $35... They did remove $25 warranty, and added $10 discount... Total was about $226 plus... I paid it... And went to get my car... I found that my car is NOT running well... Problem run to start the ignitation turned off itself... Several times when i was on the road... I cannot understand how come... It added another problem... After starter was installed... I didnt know if they changed something in the hood... I went to my good friend and asked him to drive the test... He said it needs more time and it will be alright...
I think i should receve the refund of $125 approx ($90 at first thing) ($35 core) bez they added twice $35... I will check at other pepboys and whats the rebuilt starter cost??? Will they add $35 to that part??? I will let u know... Thank u for ur time to read my article...
