I read the complaints about Swift on your website, and decided to give them the benefit of doubt. I enrolled in their "cdl training school" in San Antonio, tx.
What I discovered, is, most of the complaints about "Swift ripping you off", are, in fact, true! The school bills you for 210 hrs of "training". My group only received 175 hrs. The first week of school was mangled by a fellow who claimed he spoke 7 langauges! Only trouble was english wasn't one of them.
I took all their tests, received my cdl, got "assigned" to a driver/trainer out of laredo, tx[closest terminal to me]. I contacted him, set up a time to meet, but missed him. He called later, said he would get me next day, on the way back to Laredo.
The next day however, same thing happened again [his fault! ] I called him, he informed me that he decided to quit Swift and go elsewhere and to call Swift to get re-assigned. The next "driver/trainer", was out of Mexico, could barely speak english, and smoked like a chimney. The library is closing, so I can't finish this.
