I took my car to Auto -1 and told owner Alessa Bertoluzzi that the car was overheating and was having to fill coolant reservoir several times a week. We were relocating to Savannah and felt it needed to be looked at prior to making the 100 miles I had to travel in the car. Next day, she called me and said the water pump and radiator had to be replaced. ALso the thermostat could use replacing. This all came to just under $1000.00.
Auto 1 had done other work on this car for me but not to this extent and price but felt I could trust Alessa and although it took me a month to save the money, I had them repair it.
After getting back to Savannah within a few day, car began to show same exact problems as before she "fixed the leak" and out $1000.00! We called her and she began to make excuses and just said bring it back in. She acted like she couldnt care less and did not offer any help. Basically she had her money and we were screwed.
I took the car back to Auto-1 and Alessa was shocked to see me! She said they could look at it but the car had "other issues" and she would not fix it. She became argumentative and I walked out of office and she pursued me yelling at me.! I told her she stole my money basicall, did not fix car and I am telling everyone to avoid this business at all costs! AUTO-1 Summerville is a RIPOFF SHOP!
