Loan Sharks in business suits
When my wife filed bankruptcy in March of this year I continued making payments to Americredit and thought everything was ok. Then without warning some nickle and dime repo pirate took our vehicle.
I called Americredit and spoke to a Donna McClain in their so-called bankruptcy dept. I told her I have money orders that state the payments were made.
She told me that if she found it was their fault the vehicle would be returned. Well wouldn't you know it the money orders were credited to the wrong account.
Mrs Donna McClain then went on to tell my wife that we missed a payment in May of and as of result we need $11,000, to get our vehicle back
My wife stated shouldn't you have notified us that we were behind so we could have corrected it? She stated AmeriCredit did not have to notify us and they are within their rights
She went on to say maybe you shouldn't have filed bankruptcy and none of this would have happened. My wife told her she notified the Judge and Attorney she would keep the vehicle!
Mrs Mcclain then stated we were told you didn't want the vehicle. My wife then stated she would seek legal advise. Mrs Donna Mcclain then stated I would advise against that
She went on to say that it would be more costly and we would lose anyway. My wife then stated she would pay the payment they claim we didn't pay even though they said yes to a extension then lied and said no
Americredit is a low down rippoff artist with loan sharks in suits working behind a desk robbing and cheating customers. They messed with the wrong person if they think this will go away
To add insult to injury they drove our vehicle to St Paul 2hrs away with our belongings inside. Five days later Americredit sends a letter telling me I have ten days to claim the vehicle.
The letter states if we do not claim the truck it would be sold at an auction and our belongings disposed of by law. I will also be responsible for any money that doesn't cover the loan
You tell me why our Nation allows crooks like this to prey on people like us. We need law makers to get off their butts and kick companies like Americredit off this planet!
