2 months ago we took my husband truck to midas in springfield IL. They replaced the rack and pinion. 2 days later we had to take it back because the parts they just replaced started pouring power steering fluid.
Now, 2 months later the same part went out again and damaged the power steering pump also.
I called the midas location and they couldn't get to it for a couple of days and they said this normally happens. So its normal to have to replace the same part and have more damage done to your vehicle in 2 months?
So of course my husband is so mad, he refuse to let them touch his truck so we are having another shop fix it right. I will be returning to midas on Monday for a refund! We paid them over $900 to fix this and they didnt do that! Plus the rack and pinion they "replaced" is covered in rust like it has been there for years and the truck isnt but a few years old... I will Never return there.
If they dont refund my money I will be contacting my lawyer!
