This week, I took my pristine wheels to America's Service Station for new tire mounting. I also gave them specific mounting instructions, which they confirmed they would follow.
Bottom line: they didn't follow my mounting instructions, and they scratched all 4 wheels (SSR Competitions), and gouged one wheel (~1/2"x1/8").
When I met with the manager, I told him I would not press the issue on the scratched wheels, but expected him to pay for the repair of the gouge, and to refund the $60.00 monting fee, as they were done incorrectly.
He basically accused me of lying, and said the maximum he'd do would be to pay a total of $60.00, and then walked away.
