Mark depapa ripped me off. I was buying a toyota van from him. We made a deal at a price of $900. I gave him a deposit of $200. He gave me a paper stating that. He said he would take care of the dmv fees and smog. He suggested an office that handles dmv paperwork. (not dmv private individual business) we met there. The paperwork was started.
At this time i paid him the $ 700. I should have not given him the full sum of $900 because he had not done the smog check or given me the van yet, but as in the beverly hills incident he talked about god religon how he went to church and gave me a sob story how he had to sell everything he had to raise a $100,000 to save his house. Before i could get a statement that i had paid him in full he left the office and jumped into a car and was gone.
He has given me the runaround for a week. He never gave me the van and never got the smog done. I tried contacting him for a week and he did not respond. Finally he did repond and said the paperwork was incomplete and ment nothing even though i got paper work with my name on it. He said i had not paid him in full. I still owed him money for the van. He seemed like a nice guy and had his son with him. I agree with helen from the beverly hills incident. He is an evil person.
