I purchased a 1998 used dodge dakota from towbin dodge. The sticker price was $8,888. I put $3,000 dollars down and financed the remainder $6,000 odd dollars. During the sales process I was repeatedly asked by the salesman if I wanted to purchase an extended warranty. I told him no several times. I thought nothing of it.
Later that night I realized that the numbers did not quite add up right. I found out that I was charged $1,500 for something called pp package. (Basicaly it was an extended warranty on the tires and I got a free case of oil additive)
The next bussiness day I went in to raise hell with the manager and I was told that their is no refunds on the pp package. They sneak in the hidden charges and cover their asses so you can't take it off. I reported them to the local BBB and state of nevada attorney generals office. They responded to the these agencies with a letter saying that they were not in the wrong and that as a token of good will they would refund me the $1,500. Well long story short they lied when they had their backs to the wall. I never got the money. And these agencies do not wish to pursue this issue any further. Do not buy from towbin dodge.
