I also got ripped off by Bob Kalil of Fenway Auto Park. I bought a Honda from him a few years ago, and got his usual promise of 'I'll fix any problems'. After leaving my car there for a week to get the problems fixed that cropped with 24 hours of picking up the car. I went to see what was up, and had to sit and listen to his 'mechanic' complaining to his girlfriend, 'on the phone', that this was a terrible place to work and that he was sick of covering for Kalil and his cronies as they avoided the customers they had ripped off.
When Kalil finally showed (about 2 hours later) up he physically threatened me to get me to leave his property. And of course I was never re-imbursed for the over $1000.00 in repairs this car needed just to get a sticker. * BE AWARE * If the salesman at his dealership tells you his name is 'Freddy', then that car is definitely a piece of sh*. That way when you call and ask for 'Freddy' they know to run and hide.
* Also, he is connected to MOST of the dealerships on Rt 125 in some way. For instance the owner of J.T.S. Auto Sales is either his or his brother Georges son. (Jason T. Shallow) Kalil must have friends in high places in Haverhill. Each time he rips someone off and news of it make it into the Eagle Tribune (2 articles in the past year), they say 'One more' and we'll revoke his license, and yet he continues to operate. Whenever I drive by this place (daily) and see someone shopping, I pull in and tell them what a crook the Kalils are, and that they would be smart to move on. (Just doing my part...)
