I went in on the 99.95 special and after getting there they asked if i had a few minutes to wait so that they could look at my truck before i left, so i waited. They came back and said my truck needed new brakes and rotors, repair totaling 600.00 and some change. I declined the service and asked only for the 99.95 service. I left, 20 minutes go by and they call on the phone to try to get me to take the package, again i say no just do the 99.95 service. So i hang up, and they call at 2:40 to pick up my truck, i pay the bill 110.08 by check and i leave, i drive about 500 yards down us 19 (very busy road, main highway) and the truck is making all sort of noise, i call back, can you bring it back? Yes, if i make it there... Well they didn't tighten down the bolts that went into the calipers, so i lost one all together and the other one was bent in the caliper.
So they put some bolts in and said they would order two new bolts from toyota, i was scared to drive me truck, so i traded it in two days later. I will never go to just brakes again. I did a stop payment on the check and they put a hold on my account, so that i wasn't able to write a check anywhere. This was very hard because i work for a bank and that was not cool. So i had to pay the amount of the check plus 30.00 for the stop payment plus a fee from telecheck. Total bill now is 165.08.
