Denied a routine claim, stating item was not covered?

I bought an extended warranty for my Daughters Ford Mustang. I priced shopped for several days before I settled on this one. I figured that an LG Warranty was the best way to go. It was a little pricey, but Salesman told me it covered covered everything but wear and tear items. I even got a great e-mail telling me what a great warranty I bought and if they could do anything just ask. 4 months later my Daughter breaks down many miles from home. She took it to the nearest Ford Dealer who found the internal engine problem and called warranty administrator for approval. The shop foreman did not expect any problems because this was a problem that most warranty companies cover. WRONG!!! It was denied because the exact part was not called out in the contract. Only specific listed parts are covered, as they told me. This module affected 3 of the parts that were covered, and there was a clause in contract saying that warranty administrator could change the terminology at their descretion if they wanted to, but I guess not paying the claim is their way of maximizing their profits!!! I had to go ahead and pay the Ford Dealer so my daughter could get back on the road. I feel like I got ripped off, and do not trust these people any more!!! Manager was going to call me back, but did not even have the courtesy to do that!!!

Buyer beware, you don't want to invest several thousand for something like this!!!
