I rented an SUV from Thrifty in Orlando in august. Everything was fine until november, then i got a letter stating i drove through a tollgate and did not pay 0.25 in toll so they had to pay for me and fine me for $25. The fact is that this day i was in Universal Studios Orlando (i have the tickets to prove it to them) from early morning until late night but the gate i was supposed to have gone through was in Miami, 200 miles away. I know this is not a lot of money but i am not gonna take it silently... I contacted Sunpass and they said that they did not have anything on this licenceplate in their records and i called Thrifty 3 times and asked for a photo and they always say that they will email it to me shortly but i have not got it yet.
I did contact a lawyer and she is looking in to this. This has taken to much of my time and it is time to take the gloves off... I am sure that they play this stunt alot and make alot of dollars on this scam every year.
