My car's tires were stolen in the AM on 12/14, and hours later I see an ad on craigslist for exactly what was stolen from my car. When I called to ask him about the tires, he said some guy came in and sold them to him for $200 cash. He then told the police that he doesn't record any type of identification on those he purchases parts from.
I find this highly offensive, especially in light of all the tire thefts happening around Indianapolis. Pawn shops are obligated by law to record information on strangers selling them things, so why shouldn't Tru Motorsports? This is very bad business practice and encourages tire theft in the area; the criminals get away with it very easily!
