Took a $30,000 car to Mr Transmission in Asheville, NC. After getting the car back the transmission failed within days and had to be towed back. This happened 5 times is as many months. At one point they towed the car to a dealer because the dash lights would flash on and off and the car would quit running. The dealer found that the wiring harness was pinched by installation of transmission. (My cost another $350)
They finally told me the warranty had expired and asked me to have a tow truck remove it from their yard. The charged $2,200 for a transmission repair that never lasted more than 100 miles at a time. Left me with an expensive car that I finally had to get repaired at another shop which did a very good job and car has lasted for 5 more years after their work. The Franchise for Mr Transmission refused to discuss the matter as they said each franchise is independently owned. Mr Transmission is ripping off the public and should be made to close down.
