2011 Camaro, Dealer is claiming that the engine is blown but really hasn't checked. Says they won't warranty the work because they believe it is due to neglect. I contacted Chevy customer service and the GM executive office but they just went along with the dealer.
They want $6800 for a new engine and if I want a true diagnosis of my current engine they want $1800. The car is 11 months old with 32k miles, this is my everyday driver. We changed the oil ourselves but I am unable to locate the receipts to prove this.
I have been a loyal gm customer for 11 years and my parents have been customers for almost 50 years. It makes me sick to think that I purchased warranties and all to help me in the situation but their sitting their making excuses to get off the hook. This was not a cheap purchase and none of my others have been either.
