Warranty USA and any possible subsidiaries were illegally selling extended warranties on autos purchased in the state of Texas, they were not authorized by the State to do so but did anyway. They would send you packaging that appeared to be from the manufacturer of your vehcile but was not.
We paid $1000 for a 7 year 60,000 mile extended warranty and never got any payments back when you serviced the vehcile.in 2002 they apparently went backrupt if you look at the website is talks about bankruptcy proceedings in the state of Nevada. The state board of regulation in Texas has a big warning page about the ripoff but it was too late for us.
They took us for quite a bit of money after you figure in unpaid repair costs. These people apparently ripped off about 55,000 Texans with this scam including a friend of mine as well as us. Anyone got any current info or tips on getting something back from them please pass it along.
