I recently purchased a new car from Erin Mills Mazda. I purchased the extended 6 year warranty. The reason I purchased this car was because my previous car was used and ended up giving me problems. I was assured the warranty I purchased was enough to keep this car reliable throughout the 6 year period. Now, 8 months later my car has become undrivable and I'm being forced to pay 6000$ that I dont have (tax) just to have a working car again. I worked so hard to save enough money to buy a new car, sure that it would be a good investment. Now I am in a position where, I am paying monthly payments on a car I cannot drive. Not only this, what the hell is my warranty for? They also asked me to pay them 300$ to get the car diagnosed. I have felt nothing but headaches and frustration from the moment I came in for my first service. I am now forced to sell the car I fell in love with, but still continue to pay my monthly financing, all because Mazda is so greedy and selfish and does not care that I am being treated like absolute garbage. The service people are so rude... Oh and get this... The nicest person in service I talked to was the guy that drove me to work in the courtesy shuttle who actually had nothing good to say about Mazda. He told me that "the squeeky wheels gets looked at"..in other words. Make a big noise! And DO NOT back down until you get what you need. When I asked the service manager to show me paperwork that stated my warranty was not going to cover the engine problems, she refused to show them to me, and told me it was confidential. All I ask is that Erin Mills Mazda be true to the promises they made to me.
