We made the mistake of purchasing a Toyota Sequoia from Atlanta Toyota in Duluth Ga. And would soon realize our mistake. We purchased the vehicle based on Toyota's reputation for quality but soon realized that quality had apparently taken a backseat to quantity. Our vehicle developed a leak in the rear behind the third row seat that has resulted in repeated trips to the dealership for repair, borrowing transportation and time missed from work. The carpet constantly stays soaked and musty from the leak. Our local Toyota has worked on the vehicle and even called in a leak specalist with always the same result - Rain = wet carpet. The car is at a minumum of poor quality or, as the Service Manager suggested, might have been damaged at the factory or in transport and repaired. Either way, we are suffering from Toyota's lack of quality and will have to resort to trading a vehicle that is almost paid for or removing the carpet and hope the floor pan doesn"t rust out. 30k well spent. If your making a vehicle purchase, buy american, european, asian or whatever - just not Toyota.
