I purchased an auto warranty from this company. A little more than a month later, the water pump failed, causing the engine to overheat. It damaged the engine; AUL refused to pay for the damage except to just repair the water pump, leaving me with a $3,300 repair bill.
They have a broad "overheating is not covered for any reason" exclusion. BUYER BEWARE: Many other auto warranty companies do cover overheating because, as they say it, "overheating can happen even to a well-maintained car". They also warn against these exclusions.
Additionally, they did not disclose this fact to me upfront before I purchased the warranty.
