I was encouraged by an offer to receive a $20.00 dollar a month rebate if I purchased over $100.00 of gasoline a month at my favorite gas station. After sending the company a fee promised to be returned at the end of the 15 month my program of $12.99, I was satisfied to be logged into an internet site to comply with the terms of the program. Each month starting in September I would collect receipts, print out the monthly voucher, and send it to Star Rebates expecting a monthly check or rebate to a credit card of my choice.
Well you know what happened-NOTHING. After several attempts to notify the company of their misdoings, I was always told "due to the success of the program" they were delayed with the rebates. I am afraid the SCAM continues and hope to save another individual the stress and denial caused by Star Rebates.
I almost feel insulted and embarrassed of having others of my eagerness to save money, and that they should do the same. Once again the moral of the story, ANYTHING THAT LOOKS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE IS PROBABLE TOO GOOD OR A SCAM.
I figure these "rats" have scammed $12.99 a person since their inception and will continue to do so unless they are hunted down and prosecuted. That could provide a lifetime income if 1 million people replied-good going you "rich thieves".
