Complaint / Review
FedEx
Delivered to non-existent address

Requested a bundle from California, and also the shipper had a typo within the handle. The right handle was 6315, however the organization delivered to 6515. About the expected evening of shipping, we followed the bundle and realized that it mentioned the bundle have been shipped. Because 6515 might just be 1 stop from our home, we chose to wander right down to our neighbors at 6515 and have when they had our bundle. Nevertheless - 6515 DOESN'T OCCUR! The home figures about the road proceed from 6500 to 6529 - no 6515 between. We named FedEx and described the issue for them, and requested where they sent the bundle. These were not able to inform me something apart from that the bundle have been sent to 6515. Additionally they mentioned that 6515 was a legitimate handle within their program, but were not able to check out a chart and inform me wherever it's (significantly - it generally does not occur - I examined using the town.) After 3 distinct telephone calls, I had been informed the driver could be delivered back out to get the bundle plus they might provide me a call-back. I subsequently obtained a phone 24 hours later declaring the bundle have been sent to 6515. After a significant very long time about the telephone attempting to show them that it's difficult since the tackle didn't occur - the client support representative hung-up on me. I called back, described the whole point to a different customer support repetition and that I was informed the only point I really could do is contact the shipper and also have them place in a track about the bundle which at that time the driver could be delivered back out to get the bundle (in the non existent handle - nice technique!) After I asked why I'd not been informed this about the first telephone call rather than the fifth telephone call, the client support representative again hung-up on me.

I had been unaware the motorists are separate companies till I study a few of the additional posts with this site. After requesting repeatedly for that precise FedEx plan when an address CAn't be discovered and never obtaining a solution, everything became obvious. FedEx doesn't have control over their separate companies - of course if an address CAn't be discovered there's nothing preventing the driver from getting the bundle house - with no particular FexEx plan that anybody might study in my experience stopping them from doing this. Our guess is when the tackle CAn't be discovered, the driver simply reaches maintain it. There's truly nothing preventing them from carrying this out, whilst the only individual in the world who understands where my bundle went is their separate company driver who's not really a FedEx worker and FedEx doesn't have control over.

Exactly the same company delivered another bundle to us via UPS on a single time. The tackle was likewise incorrect on that bundle, but about the evening of shipping I obtained a phone from advantages declaring they had an inappropriate target (they'd tried shipping to 6515 and never had the opportunity to locate it) and they had looked up the title within their program and desired to verify the right target with me. They did actually possess the proper handle (that the advantages individual explained they ostensibly "try looking in the telephone book") and sent the bundle promptly. Why FedEx cannot do that I've no concept - they'dnot clarify something in my experience except the bundle have been sent to 6515.

Remove - use advantages or USPS if you wish to really obtain your package and never contain it taken by a completely independent FedEx company (who incidentally - may utilize anybody - drug addicts, felons, etc. - who currently understand where you reside AND what you possess - and FedEx requires NO obligation if anything occurs to possibly your bundle, or even to you.)
