On February 26, I purchased a Volkswagen Jetta GLX VR6 Blue for my wife from Sebastian Gajewski of M & S Auto Sales. He lives in Blakeslee, Pa where I bought the car at his house. A two days after we purchased the car (February 28) it would not start come to find out it needed a new battery. A few days later (March 6) my wife is driving home in the pouring down rain and the cars dashboard instrument panels were going haywire then the car shut off.
I met her to jump start the car it ran for a few seconds then shut off. I then had the car towed to my mechanic for the past few years who is ASE certified. I told him what was happening and that the car also had to get a state inspection.
He informed me the car needed an alternator and upon performing the state inspection that the car had a broken water pump, the drive belt (which had been squealing) was shredding and that engine oil had been leaking into the
coolant reservoir.
