Sponsored whips/Tomas Sley placed a ad on facebook asking anyone who was interested in having their vehicle featured on the popular television show over haulin. They wanted a short story about your vehicle and yourself and why they should consider tricking out your ride. I applied telling them about the car that I wanted to enter and the story behind why I was entering, I was entering my mothers car as a surprise for her my whole family are huge fans of the real show over haulin, my mother suffered a massive heart attack on jan 24th and actually died in the living room of our home the emt that arrived after calling 911 was able to bring her back to life and rush her to our local hospital. She spent 2 weeks in icu in critical condition the surgeons performed multiple proceedures to save her life in the end they had to install 5 stents in her heart to unblock all the plugged arteries she was released to come home on feb 5th and has a new lease on life the only thing is the fact she has no medical insurance or income to help with her medical costs. I submitted this story along with pictures of her mustang on feb 7th and got a call from Tomas Sley on feb 9th he proceeded to tell me that they wanted to trick my moms car he told me that they were very interested in her car because they had never done a car from montana and being a fan of the real overhaulin show I never seen a episode with any cars from montana this made me very excited after all my mom has been through to think of how happy it would make her to have her car featured on a episode of over haulin was over whelming to say the least. Tomas told me that they would have the car done by the 15th of march, they would fly the crew and cast to montana and do the show here. He told me that we would be talking to each other daily he told me that sponsored whips would gaurantee my 189.00 fee for 30 days from the date of the exceptance email he sent me on the 9th and if for any reason I was entitled to a full refund within that 30 day period. I mailed my 189.00 money order that day, I got 2 more phone calls one on the 10th and one on the 11th both were short and were to confirm the money was on it's way I was told they could'nt start drafting the proper papers to recruit sponsors until they received this money, they sent one email the following week with a rough draft of what they were sending out to potential sponsores and that was the last I heard from them even after calling and emailing them to find out what was happening I never got any response. I sent my last email to them on the 8th of march asking for a full refund and still have not got a reply or my money back. These people need to be stopped it's hard enough to make it in todays world without having people rob you and I am sure that there are many many people out there that these scam artists have taken advantage of. Something has to be done with these type of people in my opinion they are a waste of the air they breathe
