Businessowner mistook me for someone else on the phone, and was extremely rude, violent, unprofessional and inappropriate. I called Beach Buffers to make an appointment for a car detail. I spokewith owner, Ken LaPoint.initially he was accommodating andprofessional. I requested a car detail the following day. He said hewould be able to do it. I told him I used his services in the past, andwas a returning customer. He asked what kind of car, and how much hecharged me. I told him and he said he was trying to remember me. Thenhe said, "you haven't been here in ages" (like it was a crime, and hewas really offended).
I replied, "Yes, it's been a while, because I hadsome hardships with work, and I was not able to afford getting my cardetailed." His tone of voice, and attitude changed, and he became veryaggravated! He said, "No, I won't do your car, I told you last time notto come back"! I was taken by surprise, and in shock! My feelings werehurt, and I tried to explain I was never told not to return to thebusiness. He became increasing violent, even yelling and saying, "Iremember who you are, you're real picky. "Honestly, I think anyonepaying $200 for a car detail is going to be 'picky'! I said, "I'msorry, but I think you have me mistaken with someone else." However, hewas not cooling down. He continued on a rampage repeating the aboveinformation. I said "Oh, Ok, thank you" and hung up!
