Smeal Derricks, Smeal Manufacturing and Smeal Fire Apparatus are among the names of Smeal companies under the same roof and management. The companies, located in Snyder Nebraska, are collectively owned by members of the Smeal family.
Smeal, responsible for effectively ending life as it was known for a four year old little girl (and her family) in the Appleton WI area, were rightfully forced to forfeit large sums of money in an out of court settlement to the family. Smeal has refused to issue a safety recall or change the design of their equipment that permanently destroyed the life of an innocent child. The child will forever need 24 hour care.
