Having a disability, i wrongly assumed that this well known disability advocates company would be the perfect place to make my first automobile purchase. I was wrong.
I arrived at jim click nissan feeling secure that i would be treated honestly, after all i disclosed to the salesman that i had an emotional/mental disability which had kept from working for the past ten years, and i begged them to please just be honest with me, as i was not capable of discerning if they were not. They said of course they would be.
I took them at their word. But they did nothing but lie to me. They offered me five-thousand dollars as a trade in on my 1984 firebird.
I told them i did not think it was worth that much, but they wanted to give me a break. I wanted to buy a mazda they showed me a 626 used car and i signed the papers.
On sunday morning i looked at the classified ads and there was the car i had just bought, but with one differance it was more then a thousand dollars less then what i had purchased it for.
I was so upset that they lied to me, because of my condition, i was not able to confront them so my mother called.
I went back to jim click's nissan automall, it was so hard for me to do, but i went anyway and then they sold me a pick-up truck, this time i only got 500.00 on my firebird for a tradein, which i thought was way to low.
They lied about the truck's previous ownership and the number of accidents it was involved in, failed to provide me with mazda's used car protection coverage, lied about the extended warrenty coverage. Which cost me 1500.00.
They abused me emotionaly.
