On 8/14/10 I ordered a "Pedal Buddy's" via Scott's Auto Pedal X-tenders website. On 8/16/10 Mr. Scott contacted me leaving a voicemail stating that the "Pedal Buddy's" weren't in stock. He wanted my permission to substitute the "Pedal Mate". I emailed him that day and agreed to the "Pedal Mate" requesting that he let me know when it shipped.
I never heard from Mr. Scott again. I left several messages on his phone, sent emails all with no response.
I finally got him by phone today 9/6/10 and asked him what had happened. He stated that he was just the distributor and that the product was shipped via the manufacturer. He also said that he assumed that I had received my "Pedal Mate" already.
I asked him why he didn't respond to my voicemails and emails. He didn't respond. He offered to overnight the item to me but at this point I didn't trust him.
I requested a refund and he said he would do it today. I also threatened to contact my bank if he didn't refund my money. (Item was paid via PayPal using a debit card) He did refund my $99.99.
The customer service is non existent and it appears that Mr. Scott either doesn't know how to run his business, although he claims to have been in business for 12 years, or he is attempting to rip people off.
