I bought a 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 4x4 from Mark at the end of Febuary. Two weeks ago I tow my 18' fiberglass boat for the first time and make it about a half a mile before the bumper and trailer hitch completely fell off! When I inspected underneath the truck I found that neither were bolted on, just poorly tack welded. I also found that the bed was also not bolted but welded just as poorly only in two spots! I took the truck to three body shops to get prices to fix the damage, the cheapest was $10,803.84! All three told me that the frame had been cut in the rear and it needed to be replaced. I called the dealership to let them know what happened and all the could say is "Sorry that happened, but you bought it as-is." I urge anyone concidering buying a truck from them INSPECT EVERY INCH! Because they obviously don't, though they charge an inspection fee.
