My husband has a garage in Nova Scotia we decided to try Pivotal to try and save money on there so called cheap rates. Well there cheap rates have lots of hidden fees no one tells you about, the processing machine is slow as hell and you can finally get a batch to close after 20 feet of paper. I was told that if I signed the contract and was not happy with the service I would be out the cost of the machine and a $250 cancellation fee. Well I tryed for 3 months and wanted to go back to my old processing company due to many reasons but when I callled to cancel apparently I can't even though their service was not what they claimed to be. What I was told would cost me was apparently incorrect I owe them a precentage of what they would make off us for the next 5 years. They have taken funds out of our bank account that are not what they said would be. Do I have no rights at all as a customer? And they have all the rights? The way they treat a small business owner or anybody for that matter should not be legal. I beg of anyone have you gone through a similiar circumistance I'm looking for my legal rights, is this going to cost me even more to get a lawyer to try and settle it? Does anyone have any advice for me??
