Town & Country Ford
Not treated fairly, nor back the warranty on the vehicle

This started in December when I purchased the 2009 Malibu from Joe Taylor at Town & Country Ford. On the big glass window it stated "Christmas money, $1000.00 on ANY used certified vehicles. I asked about my money and he stated it is nice at this times of year. However, he came back and said I don't qualify for it. I asked why, and he says they said it wasn't a ford I purchased. I further stated to him that is not what the window says. So I was out the money. Then in March I took my car in for a oil change and also asked them to check my breaks as they were squeaking. (14.000 miles). He checked them and said there wasn't anything wroing with them, and my oil change was at no charge as I took out the 6 years bumper to bumper warranty and the finance officer threw in the 3 years free oil changes. Mind you my car was still under warranty as it still is and they charged me $24.99 to check my breaks as I stated to them that it is still under warranty. (service dept.) I still had to pay that to. Then today 4/23/10 my son took my car with him to Bloomington, IN for the weekend and noticed that it was pulling to the right had it checked and was told the tires were okay, just needed to be aired up. He got to Petersburgh, IN and had TWO blow outs and the vehicle has firestone tires, which they should not even have because of the problems they have had. A wrecker was called and towed him to a garage where he had to purchase two new tires and pay the towing totally $340.00. The TPMS also blew and now that has to be replaced and a front end alignment that I will also have to pay for, since a mistake from you all for having firestone tires on that vehicle. The back two tires are still firestone and hope to god he makes it back Sunday with no problems so that I can get it in somewhere to have an alignment done on it at my expense again. I think someone at the Ford Co. Has taken advantage of me and I don't fill that I should had to pay for the tires, nor the alignment nor the TPMS. Not only did I get screwed out of the Christmas money, the $24.99 now this. Something needs to be looked at here. I'm not begging, but I am not very happy nor if nothing is done will I ever go back to Town & Country Ford in Evansville, IN, I will never recommend any one to buy from them. I would appreciate hearing back from someone there not here. Thank You
