Riverside Towing inc. Towed my car on 3/3/10. We picked up the car on 3/5/10. When we got home we began to look to see if there was any damage or any items missing. Turns out there was about $150 worth of items stolen from my car!!! We immediately called the riverside towing inc, but there office was closed. We called the next day and spoke with the owner who very rudly said its not there fault and to call back Monday to speak with somebody else.
So I called back on Monday to try and resolve this issue. The woman I spoke with was very nice till I explained that I had items stolen out of my car. Then she immediately began speaking very rudely to me saying "nobody stole anything from your car... Ect." They wouldn't even ask or take a look around to see if they had just been miss placed. Finally she said if you got a problem call the phone # on the back of your invoice we cant help you.
I have made 2 more attempts to contact them to get my property returned with no such luck. So I have filled a police report, wrote to the BBB, contacted the California tow truck association and now writing this.
I know it seems like a little much over a $150, but I think its time that malicious tow company's like this who think they can get away with what ever they want see some legal repercussions!
