On 1/4/10, I sent a gas fireplace in original store packaging from a UPS Store in Mundelein, IL to my home address in California. I purcased insurance to get a reported price of $700 and examined the container designated "Fragile" about the order form. Advantages never sent the package. After I named the advantages Store to ask about it, they advised me the bundle have been seriously broken and delivered to a Harm Assessment Service. Subsequently, I submitted a state for that problems through the Mundelein UPS Store. On February 22, the Mundelein advantages shop delivered me a duplicate of the notice from Crawford & Co. Which was maintained by advantages to examine the bundle. The notice mentioned that my state was refused since the presentation did not meet-ups presentation requirements. This is surprising in my experience, whilst the container had created it completely from China towards the shop where I purchased it, in its unique presentation, and also the advantages Shop did not increase any doubt or claim that I create modifications towards the packaging after I sent it. The notice also mentioned that advantages does not handle packed designated delicate (fragile) any diverse from normal containers. Therefore, its a secret in my experience why they've a container on the Purchase form to indicate the bundle as "fragile." Once the container was exposed by household in Mundelein, they discovered the hearth have been SMASHED as though fallen from the wonderful peak or anything really large was fallen along with it. The bits of timber for that hearth were actually divided in two along with a steel fuel tube was bent. This proof suggests that the bundle wasn't managed with reasonable treatment.in my opinion this state was refused in bad religion, and that I must have been settled problems such as the worth of the hearth and price of delivery.
