Ford f-150 - 2000 f-150

I have a 2000 f-150 extended cab. All the rails that the bed sits on that fasten to the frame are completely rusted away. It would be dangerous to get in the bed of the truck. Theas should not rust out the bed is ready to falloff the truch has only about 120,000 miles on it. Ford should build better ones than that. Ihave had several f-150 and never this problem. I have a 2003 alse itis not tike the 2000
