I went into a deal with Mr. Cotta buying the car "As is". As is means you let the consumer know up front what's wrong with the car. This is why we wish to buy it, because it looks and sound good. Therefore, if a transmission or something else serious is the problem, that should be known upfront. Or, if the consumer discovers this before 30 days and particularly within 2 or 3 days, the seller should honor it and stand behind his car. Upon such conditions, the consumer should have the option of reversing the deal with his money back, of course!
If the money was given by credit card, if should be returned by credit card, if it was given by cash, it should be returned by cash. If by check, then it should be returned by check. If there was a fee to be deducted from such a transaction, then it should have been made clear from the beginning that this charge would occur should the consumer want his/her money back.
