My boyfriend and I share a vehicle, which was repossessed illegally. My partner is active duty military. He is now stationed in Afghan. Tucson Police department was not able to locate the vehicle, nor was the bank. I called the major repo companies in Tucson and Phoenix. They were all nice and willing to talk to me and hear my situation, and one in Phoenix even looked to see if any of his friends had gone to Tucson.By the way it is illegal under federal law to repo a car of a deployed service member. I contacted Speedy Repo, the gentlemen who answered the 800 number told me to take it up with the bank. I tried to explain to him that it was in my partners name. Grant id yes we were 2 months behind. The economy sucks. When I called this number to ask if they had our car, I was rudely told to contact the bank. I tried to explain the situation. He called me a fucking moron and hung up on me. I called back very nicely and once again said that my partner was in Afghan and that it was in his name. I was told then, it's not your fucking problem it is his. I tried to explain that I need to get stuff out of it, and that it was taken illegally. He told me to shut up and deal with it. This is the worst customer service I have ever seen by a company in my life. Debt collectors are nicer, and as most know they can be very rude. To any bank or cooperation that might deal with companies that do this type of work, I would highly suggest you not using this one. A simple I am sorry I can not help you, or just listen and offer advice to someone in my situation by someone who knows something about this kind of thing would be appreciated. This is a 1st for me know nothing of how these things work.
