KNOXVILLE HARLEY IS A RIP OFF-
I should have believed the reports I read on this site.instead I took a chance and did business with the owner of Knoxville Harley, Dial, based on 50 years in the business. Big mistake. This site is trustworthy-I learned the hard way. Knoxville Harley does not stand behind the sale or the service. They deliver used bikes without ever checking them over or even doing a oil change. The bike I bought was a 2006 Harley trike-built from a leased police bike, stickered at $32,000.00, I would never have guessed that the oil was not fresh upon delivery.in fact it was as thin as water and pitch black. The bike would not shift into third gear. They demanded I bring the bike to Knoxville from Michigan rather than allow a dealer here to take a look at it first. The Knoxville owner said he "does not trust Harley Dealers". As it turned out, the primary chain was way too tight. After a couple of adjustments and loosening of the chain it ran fine. Knoxville Harley owner, Dial, then refused to pay the $150.00 bill from Detroit Harley. Seemed very reasonable to me. I will never do business with Knoxville Harley again. With as many dealers in the USA to choose from why go to a rip-off dealer like Knoxville? Believe these reports-avoid Knoxville Harley!
