Stay away from michaels auto sales!
We signed a contract with Michaels Auto Sales and then it went to financing, at financing they came back with a finance rate, interest rate, and how much we would be paying every month... in writing on a contract. So 30 days later after having the car we get a call that our interest rate had changed and our credit score had changed and we now have to come up with more of a down payment, a co signer, and pay more each month. So we got our father in law to co sign who has EXCELLENT credit. Well they jacked the monthly price up with him signing by over 100 so now we are talking into the 400 a month range. So he was like forget this so he decided to cut them out a cashier's check for the remainding balance of the car, mind you we had already put down 1800 cash. So the car was 14.8k then minus 1800 now the new price according to MAS was 14.8k So when i asked about the 1800 down we gave them with a receipt they had nothing to say, kept going back and forth and switching us around to different people.
