My story is pretty plain and simple. I had been looking for an inexpensive GPS tracker for my company to put on our installation van. I found the geomoto.com website through google and it seemed to fit our needs. There was the phone number listed there (214) 663-1815 and a gentlemen named Mike Fields answered the phone. I had inquired about the details of how the GPS system works and he even guided me to the page on there that shows you how easy it is to install.
Everything seemed perfect for what I was wanting and gladly paid the $418.00 credit card charge via web. I had told Mike I was paying with credit card and he said the unit would ship out in 2-3 days. I ordered on a Monday and by Friday I was expecting the package. I called and left a message on that Friday. Little did I know that telephone number is a cell phone, which should have been a red flag from the start.
The following Monday and Tuesday I call again and leave two more messages for Mr. Fields to call me back.By Wednesday I have already contacted my credit card company and notified them I have been completelly ripped off and start an investigation. I didn't want too much time to go by before it was undisputable.
Fair warning to all. This is a bogus website, it's your typical internet scam to get your money via credit card (to look legit) and he never delivers or returns calls. Hopefully this report will save someone from a 2-3 week ordeal trying to get there money back. Avoid all cost!
