I ordered 2 optima batteries on August 31st and had every indication that they would ship the next day. I was a little disappointed that they advertise free shipping then turn araound say there is a $15 hazardous handling fee - BS! I got a UPS confirmation stating that billing information had been received. I kept checking tracking and UPS hadn't picked up the batteries. On friday September 4th I called and got a voice mail. I left my order#, name, phone# and didn't get a call back all day. I sent two emails to 2 different email addresses posted on their website that afternoon and of two email inquiries I got no reply. I called again Monday September 7th twice and sent another email. Got no reply. Tuesday the 8th Sent an email asking when my batteries were going to ship (UPS still hadn't picked them up), where they were now and if I need to call my credit card Co and dispute charges. I got an email that said, "yeah they shipped". I emailed back & asked from where, their warehouse or their supplier's warehouse? Then I told them I had to have them by Thursday and I wanted a delivery date. They emailed back the next day and said, "late this week". Still not answering all of my questions. I told them to get on the stick or I was going to call my CC Co. And cancel my order and once again asked where the batteries were and told them UPS still hasn't picked them up. They sent back an email that said, "they left the warehouse" WTF? They absolutely do not care about their business or their customers. I was trying to get the batteries in time to apply for a $50 rebate from Optima which had to be postmarked today September 15th! I asked them in an email if they planned on covering my loss of a $50 rebate if they didn't get my batteries on time and called them once more. End of story goes after 2 weeks of bitching and throwing a fit at them I got my batteries today september 15th at 5:40 P.M. (too late to get a 9/15 post mark on my rebate) and one of the UPC labels had been rubbed off so I could not have applied for the dam rebate anyway. I really feel as though they rubbed the UPC code numbers off intentionally. These guys totally suck! They are the kings of runaround! Never order from them!
