I shopped hard for a car for my wife who is disabled. I went to several local dealerships and did an on line search. I had a car picked but wasn't committed at another lot.
I stopped by Damerow and talked to the inter net salesman who said he could get the car I want plus tint the windows if I bought from him. The problem was the car he had was bright blue and my wife wanted white. So I left. When I got home he called and said he could get a white one delivered but he needed a commitment. He said he could beat the other dealer give me an inter net discount. So I said yes. We went through the process and I got a loan for the whole amount from my credit union. I paid in full the amount on the P.O. And got a receipt. I told him I would be leaving on vacation.
When I was on vacation they started harassing my wife who was home alone about moneys that were owed. She had no dealings with them and she had no idea what they were talking about. She went into a panic thinking they were coming to take the car back. When I got home I listened to my wife and the messages then took my paperwork to my bank. They told me I payed in full and I would have to get an attorney.
This is the first new car we ever bought. The deal is tainted. My wife is still very upset. I have made an appointment to see an attorney but that will cost me money also. They have it worked out that you pay them or an attorney. Do not buy at Damm erow
