I was rear ended, Horrible service in the dealer showroom as well as in the service department

Last September I was looking to purchase a new Mazda 3, unfourtunately I went to Ralph Thayer Automotive in Livonia, MI. I was looking specifically for a 2008 Mazda 3 S 4-door. I told the salesman, who was unprofessional and seemed he had no time for me, I am putting $9,000 down, and that I will take the 3-year payment plan. As you can tell I was already set on buying a car, the salesman had no work to do, he did not need to "persuade" me into buying a car. The man brings me to his desk, he leaves (not sure where) only to return nearly 45 minutes later. He then tells me that there are no more 2008 mazda 3's. My Family has worked in the car business and I know that this made no sense.

The next day I called Suburban Mazda in Farmington Hills, and without a problem they said they would get my car in whenever I was ready! I told Suburban about the other dealer and they were shocked that they would turn me away like that.

About 10 months into ownership I was rear-ended in Dearbon, and so I figured I try my luck with Ralph Thayer to get it fixed since their body shop fixes cars that come off the Woodhaven plant.

The lady at the body shop was very nice and personable, and the shop is reputable so I decided to get my car fixed there. The car was quoted at $4,300 worth of damage and that it would take about 2 weeks to complete the job. I asked for a rental car, however they said it would be $35 a day. No thanks. I just told them to take there time with the car, I just want it done right.

Two and a half weeks go by so I call to check on the status of my car, and I was told, "your car isn't ready yet, the guy that does that job went on a week vacation he comes back in a couple days." Ok, no problem.

I didn't get a call back for another week, just to tell me my car wont be ready but should be next week. That date goes by and STILL no car, they wouldn't give me a free rental either. A total of 5 WEEKS goes by before I finally got my car back, and when I was looking it over I noticed the right taillight still hadn't been replaced, it had a crack in the side of it. So it took two more days to get the car back.

Well, it's been a week with the car back and I'm driving it everyday. Last night however I noticed that the driver side rear tire looked bent inwards. I thought it was just in my head, but my Fiance noticed it while driving behind me, and I hadn't mentioned it to her.

I will be going there in the morning to have them fix what should of been done the 1st time not the third time. I just cannot believe that the car wasn't fixed the right way, after It took them 5 weeks! Ralph Thayer employees have disappointed me every time I've stepped through those doors, and I strongly don't suggest them to anyone.
