To whom it may concern, gemcarz.com has been formally shut-down by their web server. (Pending fraud charges)
They are still, however, conning individuals who are drawn into their circle by the well-spoken (Aren't most con men?), and now relatively infamous, Alex Dimusto.
His "new" site is called "ecarmall.com" and he's in the process of repeating his familiar con... I.E. Securing a "small" deposit to hook potential buyers, only to subsequently squeeze them for the balance with no intention whatsoever of ever delivering the promised vehicle.
At best, the trusting consumer will receive a dilapidated version of what was agreed upon... But in many cases they'll receive nothing... While being kept 'on-the-hook' by the deposit. Be aware of picking up your car at an airport or other prearranged site.
Be aware of picking up your car without a mechanic to inspect it (thoroughly)... Although a cursory check of the most basic items would alert most.
To our knowledge, there has NEVER been a satisfied customer dealing with a company Mr. Dimusto has been affiliated with. (Contact your local Chrysler/GEM car dealer to verify any/all of the above)
