Beverly Hills Luxury Auto Broker - Nate McClinton
Did not guarantee lease assumption or any repossesion costs associated

The owners name is Nate McClinton and he is a total fraud! He claims to run a business that specializes in loan/lease assumptions. He is NOT licensed by the DMV nor does he have any insurance or bonding as he "claims" to have both in person and on his website. His pitch is that he will find someone to take over your lease or lease the car from you if you are the owner of the car. He basically finds people who have little, none, or bad credit and enables them to get into a luxury car by taking a large deposit from the new car consumer.in my case I have a very nice BMW 6 series convertable that I own outright. He found a person who was willing to lease my car from me on a month to month basis for $1100 per month. The person had to keep insurance on the car and Nate guaranteed that his company would make the monthly payments if the customer did not pay. I keep the car registed in my name and still have the title as well so I felt safe (I was wrong). However he never reveals who the "customer" is to you. It is a mystery and every month you just hope to get paid. HE collects a large "deposit" from the customer in exchange for NOT running any credit or background checks.in my case he collected $10,000 from the customer. Then he pockets the "deposit" and "hopes" that the person that he found to lease your car keeps on paying, and if they don't then you have to try to collect from Nate and his company (good luck on that). He is a one man show with NO actual office and NO staff. He has one phone number that goes to his cell phone (with a generic outgoing message).

So to make a long story short I had to pay over $4000 to reposses my own car after the first month for non-payment and he did not accept ANY liability for this situation but even worse will not call or email me back to resolve the situation and will not refund the $10,000 that he basically stole from the customer in my opinion and as the owner of the car I did not get one dime of that $ besides the first mo. Payment.

Below is an E-Mail that I sent to him explaining what happened. Everything here is 100% true and nothing has been falsified or fabricated. He has refused to return my calls or E-Mails.

Just to recap one last time Nate, I had called you 11 times since Thursday 4/2 including text and E-Mails but you had not responded to any of them. I understand that you were to be going to Vegas on Thursday-Sunday (but phones and E-Mail work from Vegas as well - even if you did lose your phone as you later claimed to me) and that I was to get paid for my BMW no later than Wednesday April 1st per your promise to me on that previous Monday before you left! Since you had not paid me for my car and more importantly had NOT returned any of my repeated attempts to contact you, I had no choice but to take matters into my own hands and repo my own car.
I wanted this business relationship to work out but you are obviously a fraud. As stated in the bogus contract that you had me sign (I never received a notorized signed copy from Ms Wells as promised thus making this contract null and void anyways) in the 3rd paragraph of your contract states if all payments due are not made by the 10th day after the due date the user of such vehicle will be subject to reposession. The due date was 4/7 (10 days from 3/28) thus giving me full recourse to take back my car. You refused to give me Ms. Wells personal phone number so I had no way of even asking her for the monies directly since you were "missing in action" for almost a full week. According to her she had indeed paid you $1500 on that Friday but you did not bother to let me know that either. Or you could have been a good businessman and shown me good faith in making her payment to me ON TIME on April 1st and then collected from her later. This was the very first payment due (after the initial payment when car was delivered to you) and it was late!!! What does that say about you and your company? You can't even make the first payment on time?!? What legitimate business has one phone number that goes to a cell phone, which gets lost, and not replaced within 24 hours... And what about all of the e-mails that I sent to you? I suppose that Las Vegas does not have Internet connection either right?

So I had to repossess my OWN car and it is now in the custody of the repo yard awaiting payment. Furthermore, I am tired of tap dancing around the issues as to who is at blame here. I spoke at length to Ms. Wells and she agrees 100% with me and what I felt that I had to do to protect my property.

This is to serve as formal notice that you are to Fed-Ex me back my other master key within 48 hours of receipt of this E-Mail.in addition you are to put the following money into my bank account: $3,850 which is the total bill for the repossession $30 per day for storage since April 7th.
