Sonata Recall Denial: Service rep denies the recall for my 2002 Sonata for inside door handle peeling even though recall on TV news. Avondale

Called today to make appointment to get my door handles replaced per the TV news recall for the peeling door handles on my 2002 Sonata. The Avondale Service Rep claimed that there was no recall for that problem. I explained it was on the TV and my car was under that recall. He insisted there was not recall that he knew of.
So, I saw this website and decided to let everyone know that the problem continue with this dealer.
My car has been serviced for this problem twice since buying it brand new. It is well maintained and like new, thus the problem is not from owner abuse.
The door handles separate and peel causing severe razor cuts that are difficult to stop the bleeding. We were almost sued by a valet that recently cut his hand on my door handle when he parked the car.
So, when I heard the TV recall, I thought, finally, Hyundai is doing something about the problem... Or do we have to initiate a class action lawsuit. Anyone interested?
