Fake Ebay Tricked me into sending Money Gram funds for an invisible car. San Jose

I was searching on craigslist for a car that was under $4,000 dollars. This Maxima 3.5 SL caught my attention. The man was only asking $3,100 so I asked him why he was selling it for so cheap. He said that he was Captain David Tisdale in the Army and he was being shipped back to Afghanistan. I wrote him a few times and he was slow in response. He would say it was because he was out running helicopter maneuvers and didn't have easy access to the internet to check his emails. I eventually decided that I would try to get the car. I was sent what I thought was a serious Ebay agents name and information in which I was supposed to send a Money Gram for $3,100 for the car. I was then supposed to fax the 8 digit reference number, the sender's name and address, the receiver's name and address, and the amount to be recieved to a fax line that they had sent me. It has been 4 days and I still have not heard anything back from Ebay or the seller..
