I will be short and brief. I received in the mail that I was awarded a consolation prize in the Ten Million Dollar Sweepstakes Clearinghouse Giveaway. The credit voucher was for $400.00 and I could choose 6 items that would cost me considerably less. I have received these before and I have never ever pruchased from them before. However, just the fact that they sent this to my address let's me know that some company sold my name and address. Anyhow, I decided to do some research and found this website. So many complaints, and the fact that this company spends time reading ripoffs and rebuttals let's me know they aren't legitment.
They proclaim to be doing this business for since 1984- 20 years of scamming it seems. The offer items that ppl really may enjoy buying and then they offer a layaway plan. The real SCAM is that the price they are offering you to pay is actually the real price of the item. Yep, just like on TV..."if you call now we will give you 4 for 19.95." Knowing full well that all 4 is worth the $20.00 bucks. So anyone thinking they are getting a $400 credit is really off their rocker.
Secondly, you can purchase most of these items for less from other companies that are well known and u know you will get your item. It looks like these conartist are sitting pretty and fat on other peoples money.
You must be wondering why I am writing this because I want others to know that it may look good, smell, good, and sound good, but if it is too good. It probably is. If you really want a RCA Home Stereo System why not simply buy it for less go to ebay or something.
Please don't get scammed.
