I was involved in an accident about 3 months ago and lucky I have good insurance that fixed the car back to its original condition. Turns out that the shop working for the insurance company overfilled the transmission causing it to smoke. So naturally I took the car to this dealer to diagnose the problem and they call me about 2 hours after dropping it off claiming that the transmission is extremly overfilled and would require a flush which amounts to $190. I thought it was weird because if it was overfilled why does it need a flush, they could just simply drain the excess oil, but since I drive her hard I figured why not I'm going to have to do one eventually so I gave them the ok over the phone. 2 hours later they call me and t6o tell me my cars ready, as Im paying I read over the detailed service report and realize all they did was remove they transmission pan and replace the filter and 5 quarts of oil, no flush was done. I did a little searching online and found out a full flush is 12 quarts of oil. On top of that i found a huge scratch by the gas door and another one by the fender. Thats the last time I take my car to the dealer for anything. I'm starting to think all Dodge dealerships operate this way because I had bad experiences at 2 other dealerships and decided to give this one a try, but now I'm looking for a local freelance mechanic which I'm sure there are plenty now that dealerships are facing hardtimes and firing them left and right. Avoid this stealership at any costs!!!
